The 6th Annual Red Bank Classic returns on June 20, 2026 right in the heart of downtown Red Bank, NJ.
This vibrant community event brings together runners, families, and supporters of all ages to celebrate our lively downtown, scenic waterfront, and shared commitment to uplifting Red Bank’s youth.
First launched in June 2018 by a dedicated group of local business owners, the Borough of Red Bank, and passionate community members, the Red Bank Classic 5K quickly became a signature event. What began as a vision to bring a premier race back to town has grown into a beloved tradition, now welcoming more than 1,500 runners and thousands of spectators each year.
Today, the Red Bank Classic stands as one of Monmouth County’s largest and most respected races, proudly raising over $60,000 to support youth programs for Red Bank children.

The Red Bank Family YMCA
The Red Bank Family YMCA is dedicated to helping every child learn, grow, and thrive regardless of age, income, or background. Their youth development programs provide essential support for local families, offering before- and after-school care, summer camp, sports and arts enrichment, tutoring, college-readiness guidance, and therapeutic counseling. A portion of the Red Bank Classic proceeds directly supports the Red Bank Y’s Third Grade Swim Program, which provides free swim lessons to third graders at Red Bank Primary School and Red Bank Charter School. This vital program equips children with life-saving water-safety skills and ensures all students, especially those who may not otherwise have access learn to be safe and confident in the water.
